Well Cover Extensions

Extensions are needed when the top of your window raises up higher than the top edge of the window well. The extension will close up the gap where window bumps back from plane of wall elevation.
Window can be anywhere from a few inches to two feet higher than the top of the well.

There are two styles of Cover Extensions – VERTICAL and HORIZONTAL.
The Extension is connected to the window well cover and extends either inward or upward

Generally, if your window extends less than 12 inches above the top edge of the window well than we recommend a VERTICAL Cover Extension. This style of Cover Extension extends upward and covers the window on a VERTICAL plane.

If your window extends more than 12 inches above the top edge of the window well than we recommend a HORIZONTAL Cover Extension. This style of Cover Extension extends inward and covers the window on a HORIZONTAL plane.

VERTICAL Cover Extensions

Vertical well extensions cover the gap revealed when the window extends 12 inches or less above the top edge of the window well.

HORIZONTAL Cover Extensions

Horizontal well extensions cover the gap revealed when the window extends more than 12 inches above the top edge of the window well.
